1. Scope

This statement applies to the content and functions published at https://seyteco.com/en/home/. It covers all publicly accessible areas of the website, including the application form, contact form and download area.

Out of scope are externally linked content and embedded third-party content (e.g. Google Maps, social media widgets), for whose accessibility the respective provider is responsible.

2. Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The content listed in the following section is not accessible, or only partially accessible, for the reasons stated there.

The assessment is based on the standard EN 301 549 (V3.2.1) in conjunction with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.

3. Non-accessible or partially accessible content

The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons stated:

3.1 Embedded third-party maps

  • What: Google Maps embed on the contact page.
  • Why: The map is provided by a third party (Google) and is outside our control. The interactive map controls can only be operated with a keyboard and screen reader to a limited extent.
  • Criteria not met: WCAG 2.1.1 (Keyboard), 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value)
  • Alternative: The address and phone number are available as accessible text content. The map is also only loaded after an explicit click (GDPR two-click solution).

3.2 PDF documents in the downloads

  • What: Older data sheets and brochures in PDF format.
  • Why: These documents were created before the BFSG came into force and are not consistently tagged; they are therefore only usable with screen readers to a limited extent.
  • Criteria not met: WCAG 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships), 4.1.2
  • Planned remedy: Gradual replacement with accessible versions. On request, we are happy to provide the content in an accessible format – see the feedback section.

3.3 Application form (third-party plugin)

  • What: The application and contact forms are provided via the Gravity Forms plugin.
  • Why: Some markup structures are generated by the plugin and cannot be fully overridden by the theme. We review the status with every plugin update.
  • Alternative: Applications can be submitted by email or post at any time – you will find the contact details below.

4. Compatibility with assistive technologies

The website has been tested with, or is compatible with, the following browsers and assistive technologies:

  • Browsers: Current versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari (desktop and mobile).
  • Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), TalkBack (Android).
  • Input: Full keyboard operability. The site responds to voice input tools.
  • Magnification: Content remains usable at browser zoom up to 200% (responsive layout).
  • Motion: Animations and slider transitions respect the "reduce motion" system setting (prefers-reduced-motion).

5. Keyboard navigation

The entire website can be operated without a mouse:

  • Tab – moves to the next interactive element
  • Shift + Tab – moves to the previous interactive element
  • Enter / Space – activates links and buttons
  • Esc – closes open dialogs (e.g. the mobile menu)
  • Left / right arrow keys – move to the previous / next slide within image carousels

Auto-advancing carousels can be paused via a visible pause/play button. On every page, the skip link "Skip to main content" (Tab key in the first position) takes you straight to the content.

6. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on May 8, 2026.

It is based on a self-assessment of the content and the underlying source code structures using the test steps of WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549. The following were assessed in particular: semantic structure, keyboard operation, visible focus, color contrast, alternative texts, forms, slider controls, mobile navigation and language markup.
